Daniel 3:17-18
Truth-Filled Thursday

I love the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego –
found in the Book of Daniel.
I am especially invigorated by their reply to the King when he demanded
that they worship his gods
or be thrown into the blazing furnace!

“If we are thrown into the blazing furnace,
the God we serve is able to save us from it,
and he will rescue us from your hand, O king.
But even if he does not,
we want you to know, O king,
that we will not serve your gods
or worship the image of gold you have set up.”
Daniel 3:17-18

Such faith they had!
The truth is –
He is able to deliver us from our situations –
but sometimes He does not –
because He’s working something bigger and better in our lives
and / or the lives of people around us!

How awesome is that!

I pray, dear friends, that you are resting in HIS Word today…
